Have you ever had a problem with the ball joint insert? Probably not, until you had to press out an aftermarket ball joint, only to realize the new one fits loosely in the bore. If you have a worn out ball joint insert, we’ve got you covered with a previously-unavailable new one! Our ball joint insert is a close reproduction of the heavy duty, factory design, and zinc coated for improved longevity.

Important Fit Note: All 1986-91 Vanagon Syncro with either OEM-stamped or GoWesty welded lower control arms when fitted with GoWesty HD Lower Ball Joints, OR Febi/Bilstein joints. Some other aftermarket lower ball joints are improperly sized and may not fit this part properly.
