Damon and I traveled to Guatemala in search of new materials and craftspeople and were enthralled with the incredibly colorful traditions of the Mayan people we encountered. From brightly colored clothes to brightly colored over the top Chicken Buses we wanted to try to capture the spirit of colorful Guatemala in familiar package. Sourced from the hills around Lake Atitlan our colorful fabric is hand made by local Mayan women. Then, we sourced the best Guatemalan leather we could find that fit our rugged aesthetic. The Westy Bravo is a stylish and functional tool organizer utilizing the “dead” space behind your 1980 to 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Camper’s wardrobe cabinet.
